SCORM packaging options
Highfield SCORM packages come in 2 formats:
- Individual SCORM packages
- An individual SCORM package contains just one module (SCO) in one SCORM package.
- Benefit: Limits progress loss to the active module if a disconnection occurs.
- Multi-SCO SCORM package
- A Multi-SCO SCORM package contains more than one module (SCO) in one SCORM package.
- LMS Requirements:
- Support Multi-SCO SCORM packages.
- Show a menu/list of modules.
- Track each module (SCO) separately.
- Correctly read the imsmanifest.xml file.
SCORM Package Tracking
The SCORM package tracks the following data:
- Completion status
- Success (passed/failed)
- Score (percent)
- Time spent
- Lesson location – where was the learner last in the module?
- Some interactions.

Recommended settings for optimal performance:
- Display SCORM content in a new window (pop-up).
- Set completion status to ‘Passed.’
- For Multi-SCO SCORM packages:
- Display course structure in the player (to the side)
- Require all SCOs to report a completion status.
