If a learner does not have an email address linked to their learner account, they should contact their manager/e-learning administrator as they will be able to provide login details and reset the password for you if required.
If there is an email address attached to an active learner account this will enable the use of the Forgotten Password function from the login portal: https://lms.highfieldelearning.com/. Please see the below image:
To reset a learner password, select 'Forgotten learner password?' on the login page (lms.highfieldelearning.com) and enter the email address associated with the learner account and click 'Request new password':
A notification page should appear following selecting Request new password:
An email should be received with a link to reset the password. If this does not appear in the email inbox within a few minutes, please check the spam/ junk folder. The email will be from support@highfieldelearning.com. Note that this email address does not receive replies.
Click the Reset learner password request link in the email:
The learner will then be able to select 'Confirm and Reset':
A new password will be displayed on screen so that it can be recorded and a copy will be emailed to the learner:
Using the new password provided, learners will be able to log into their learner account. Learners may be asked to change the password to something more memorable when logging in. If this is the case the learner should enter the new password provided into the current password field. They will then be able to select a new password and save it. Once this is done, only the new password will work.
Trouble logging in with your new password?
If you are having difficulty logging in after receiving a new password, please check the following:
- Select the correct login option: Make sure you are selecting the correct option for your account type — either Learner or Administrator. Using the wrong option will prevent you from logging in even with the correct credentials.
- Check for spaces: Ensure there are no accidental spaces before or after your username or password when entering your credentials.
- Check Caps Lock: Make sure Caps Lock is turned off, as passwords are case-sensitive.
- Prompted to change your password? If you are asked to change your password on first login, enter the one-time password you were provided into the Current password field. Then create a new password of at least six characters. Once saved, the one-time password will no longer work.
