Supported device
Please ensure that your device is supported by checking here. This could be why the course isn't running properly for you.
Internet speed
If your course is freezing or crashing, it could be due to a poor internet connection.
To test your internet connection, go to www.fast.com
Wait until the speed test finishes, and you should see your result like this:
Your internet speed will need to be above 5 Mbps to run the course without issues (Kbps is slower than Mbps).
If your internet speed is below 5 Mbps, you will not be able to run the course without issues and we cannot guarantee that you will be able to complete it.
If your internet speed is aququate, this could be down to an unstable connection. Even the fastest of speeds can drop connectivity for a second or two. It might be worth refreshing the page and trying again.
Blocking content
If this still doesn't work, it could be due to our site being blocked. This is especially common in institutions such as schools, hospitals and local authorities with strict IT settings.
Note that strict settings are often in place at public libraries and internet cafes.
There is a simple solution to this which just requires you to ask your IT team to fully whitelist the site https://lms.highfieldelearning.com/ as a safe site. JavaScript files, Mp3 files and Mp4 files also need to be enabled.
Once whitelisted, give the course another go and see if this fixes the issue.
We would also recommend that your IT whitelist the email address support@highfieldelearning.com as a safe sender as this email address provides notifications from the e-learning LMS.
If you are still experiencing difficulty with the course, please submit a ticket or call the Highfield e-Learning support team on 01302 363277.
