Learners who are enrolled with a valid email address should have received an Enrolment Email from support@highfieldelearning.com. The email contains a link to https://lms.highfieldelearning.com/. Within the email it states Please retain this message as you will not be provided with these login details on any future enrolment email that you may receive. However there may be a requirement for the administrator to provide learners login credentials (Either because they have been forgotten, or because the password needs to be reset for security reasons).
Learners who were enrolled using an email address are able to retrieve their username and rest their password using the Forgotten Password function on the login portal https://lms.highfieldelearning.com/
If an administrator is contacted by a learner who cannot login the administrator should first test the login credentials to see if they are working. Users often try and login to Highfield e-learning using the wrong website. They should be logging in as a learner here: https://lms.highfieldelearning.com/.
If the learner cannot locate an enrolment email which includes the correct login credentials the administrator can check whether they have a copy (Called an Enrolment Report). Without this information the administrator can provide the learner username and reset the learner password, if required. The original password is submerged in the system so will need resetting.
The administrator selects Learners > Manage Learners:
To locate learner us the filter options. The administrator can search using part of the first or last name or by email address, and then selecting 'Add filters’.
Once the learner is located the administrator should be able to provide a learner username and reset the password. The administrator selects the Change Password’ icon from the ‘options’ column and then selects ‘Auto generate’ before selecting 'Change'. Please see the image below:
A new randomly generated password is generated for the learner to use. This is not emailed to the learner, so the administrator will need to provide it to the learner.
Once the password is noted the administrator can select 'Close'.
For the learner to update their password they will need to go to the login portal https://lms.highfieldelearning.com/ and enter their learner username as well as the temporary password provided. Once logged in the learner will need to enter the temporary password in the 'Current password' field, before entering their own choice of password twice and selecting 'Save'.
The temporary password provided above will no longer work once it is changed.
If you need to send an email to the learner confirming their learner login credentials, please feel free to use the below template:.
Email template:
